This Privacy Policy explains how OmniPet LLC (“OmniPet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the OmniPet mobile application, our website, and related services (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

- Communications — information you provide when you contact support, respond to surveys, or otherwise communicate with us.
- Transaction information — if you make a purchase or subscribe, our payment processors collect payment details; we receive limited information such as confirmation of payment and the subscription plan (we do not store full card numbers).

2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device and technical data — device model, operating system, unique device and advertising identifiers, browser type, language, and app version.
- Usage data — features you use, content you view, actions you take, and the dates and times of your activity.
- Log data — IP address, crash reports, diagnostic data, and referring/exit pages.
- Approximate or precise location — depending on your device permissions, we may collect location data to provide location-based features. You can control location access in your device settings.
- Cookies and similar technologies — we and our partners use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and local storage to operate the Services, remember preferences, and measure performance. See Section 9.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive information from third parties, such as authentication providers (if you sign in with a third-party account), analytics and advertising partners, and service providers who help us operate the Services.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, personalize, and improve the Services;
- Create and manage your account and pet profiles;
- Process transactions and manage subscriptions;
- Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages;
- Send marketing and promotional communications, where permitted (you can opt out);
- Understand how users engage with the Services through analytics;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms; and
- For any other purpose disclosed to you or with your consent.
Where required by law (for example, in the EEA and UK), we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information as follows:
- Service providers — vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, analytics, customer support, payment processing, and communications, under obligations to protect your information.
- Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect the rights, property, or safety of OmniPet, our users, or others, or to enforce our terms.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
- Affiliates — with our corporate affiliates, who will honor this Policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
5. Third-party services and links
The Services may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites, products, and services that we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of third parties.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information: to access, correct, update, or delete it; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent; to data portability; and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at [privacy@omnipet.app]. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.
8.1 Communication choices
You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages, and manage push notifications in your device settings. We may still send you non-promotional messages about your account or the Services.
8.2 EEA and UK residents (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the rights described above under the GDPR and UK GDPR. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object based on your particular situation.
8.3 California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request access to and deletion of your personal information; to correct inaccurate personal information; and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in a manner that requires an opt-out under California law; if that changes, we will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism. To exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@omnipet.app. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
8.4 Other U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of certain other U.S. states may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or certain profiling. Contact us to exercise any applicable rights.
9. Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Services, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and measure the performance of features and campaigns. You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit certain mobile tracking through your device’s advertising settings. Some features may not function properly if you disable these technologies.
10. Children’s privacy
The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@omnipet.app and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. International data transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than the one in which you live, including the United States. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you as required by law, for example by posting the updated Policy with a new effective date or through in-app notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
